PKG Safety Innovation is based in Perth, with a global team and clients spread across Australia and beyond. In practice, that means one thing we can’t get around: we fly. A lot.
We fly for client projects, workshops, site visits, conferences and strategy sessions. On top of that, we run a tech-heavy business: AI tools, data platforms, devices, driving to sites, events, and everything that goes with working at the cutting edge.
We also take huge inspiration from nature — for how we design work and for our own mental health. Being around trees, water and open space is how we reset and think clearly to deliver innovation to our clients.
So we’ve put a simple commitment in place:
Trees for Every Project - each year, PKG will contribute to Regenerate Australia and support native tree planting and landscape restoration. This annual contribution will help ensure our work has a positive, regenerative impact on Australian landscapes.
It’s a practical way to link the work we do with clients to something regenerative and sustainable happening on the ground in Australia.

We don’t see trees as a magic “offset” or a way to pretend our impact doesn’t exist. We see them as part of a bigger picture:
Regenerate Australia focuses on native tree planting and ecosystem restoration, with projects that restore Australian landscapes and support local communities.
Trees for Every Project is our way of backing that work, project by project.
1. Every project triggers a contribution
For each engagement with PKG Safety Innovation, via an annual partnership we allocate funds to Regenerate Australia to support their native tree planting and landscape restoration programs.
2. Native trees, sustainable impact
Our contributions help fund Australian native tree planting in restoration projects across the country, with species selected to suit local conditions and support long-term ecosystem health.
3. Restoration
We’re not buying generic “carbon credits” or claiming certification. Our support is a contribution to on-the-ground restoration work where carbon, biodiversity, and community benefits build over time.

When you work with PKG, you’re not just investing in safer, smarter work. Your project also means:
If you’d like a short statement about PKG Trees for Every Project tailored to your engagement (for board papers, ESG reports, or internal comms), we’re happy to provide it.
We’re clear-eyed about this:
Trees for Every Project is one part of that response — a standing, no-fuss way to ensure that as we help design the future of work and safety, we’re also contributing to the health of the environments we ultimately depend on.
If you’re interested in the details of the projects we’re supporting through Regenerate Australia, or want to explore something similar in your own business, let’s talk.
Regenerate Australia is a grassroots organisation who strategically develop projects to address one of the greatest climate needs: reforestation. With over two decades of experience, they’re experts in revegetation, reforestation, carbon measurement, carbon education, and environmental planting. And they’re here to help everyone take climate action, for a greener future.
With over 7.7 million trees planted and 675,000 tonnes of carbon captured (*as of 2024), Regenerate Australia leads impactful land restoration projects nationwide. For over 20 years, they have been working with individuals, communities and organisations, to take climate action by planting native trees and reducing their carbon footprint.
Regenerate Australia helps organisations, communities, and individuals take climate action by supporting native tree planting and ecosystem restoration. Their reforestation projects are about more than just carbon offsets - they’re about meaningful restoration, supporting community tree planting and providing education tools to help everyone understand their climate impact.

At Pocketknife Group (PKG), we are more than just a consultancy; we are architects of better work.

We tell you what you need to hear—even when it’s uncomfortable. We admit when we don’t know and when things didn’t work.

We do it the right way. We stand by our work. The work has to be sound — researched properly, tested, built to hold up.

We challenge what isn’t working and celebrate what is. Innovation requires being willing to feel uncomfortable.

Beyond our work on fatality prevention, mental health and wellbeing, we contribute to environmental projects and industry.
